Operating Areas of Macao Light Rapid Transit– Notification to the Public and Passengers
The public and passengers should pay attention to and comply with the following items when using the facilities and services of the light rail within the operating areas of the Macao Light Rapid Transit (LRT) (including stations and light rail trains):
- Throwing anything into the guideway of the Macao LRT is prohibited.
- It's prohibited to open train doors, platform screen doors or entrance/exit gates of the paid area without permission, or obstruct their normal operation by any means.
- Use of emergency or safety devices without cause is prohibited.
- Any form of advertising, distribution or posting of posters, pamphlets or other publications in the station's unpaid and paid areas or inside the train without the approval of Macao Light Rapid Transit Corporation, Limited is prohibited.
- It's prohibited to undertake any activity with reward or profit purpose, such as soliciting alms, in the station's unpaid and paid areas or inside the train without the approval of Macao Light Rapid Transit Corporation, Limited.
- It's prohibited to raise funds, collect signatures or conduct investigations in the station's unpaid and paid areas or inside the train without the approval of Macao Light Rapid Transit Corporation, Limited.
- No person shall, prior to leaving the paid area, fail or refuse to pay any fare leviable.
- Children with the height less than 1 meter shall be accompanied by adults in using Macao LRT public transportation services.
- Animals are not allowed in the paid area or inside the train, except for guide dogs.
- Smoking is prohibited.
- It's prohibited to damage any machinery or equipment or any part thereof within the operating areas of Macao LRT.
- It's prohibited to cause drainage, sewage or other offensive matter to flow onto or be placed in the operating areas of Macao LRT.
- It's prohibited to enter or stay in the area declared as a restricted area by notices, signs or any other means, unless approved by Macao Light Rapid Transit Corporation, Limited.
- It's prohibited to place or discard any lighted cigarette, match, tobacco, liquid, substance or any other thing in the operating areas of Macao LRT in a manner that constitutes or is likely to constitute a fire hazard.
- It's prohibited to carry firearms, ammunition or dangerous goods into any part of the operating areas of Macao LRT, except for persons or entities as permitted by law.
- Do not do or carry anything that endangers the safety of the public, passengers or the safe operations of trains.
- Within the operating areas of Macao LRT, please comply with all the instructions on notices and indicators, and reasonable instructions and requirements of any Macao LRT staff.
- No spitting.
- No eating or drinking in the paid area.
- Do not make loud noise or cause nuisance to other passengers.
- Persons with complete or partial nudity causing discomfort to others are not allowed to enter the operating areas of Macao LRT.
- Do not leave animals alone in the unpaid area, and please keep them under proper control.
- Keep clean and proper personal and public hygiene.
- No cutting, painting or scribbling on any facility or equipment.
- Do not put your foot on the seat.
- Do not lie down or cause nuisance to other passengers on trains or within the operating areas of Macao LRT.
- Do not climb or jump on or over any wall, fence, or barrier in any part of the operating areas of Macao LRT.
- Do not take the train in a state of intoxication from alcohol or drugs.
- Do not carry large items that cause nuisance or inconvenience on the trains. Large items are items having the total dimensions (i.e. length plus width plus height) exceeding 170 cm, with the length of any one side exceeding 130 cm.
- Do not cause any kite, balloon, model or other object to fly or pass into or over any part of the operating areas of Macao LRT.
- No commercial filming in any part of the operating areas of Macao LRT without the approval of Macao Light Rapid Transit Corporation, Limited.
- Any lost property found within the operating areas of Macao LRT should be reported to the staff at the nearest station.
- Please comply with the Chief Executive's endorsement and the Conditions of Issue of Tickets for the establishment and provision of transport documents to obtain a ticket to take the train.
- If a Macao LRT staff member considers that a train is full, passengers are not allowed to enter or stay therein after the instructions are given.
