The Draft of Urban Master Plan for Macau SAR (2020-2040) and the “Project of Light Rapid Transit (LRT) East Line” held a special consultation session for associations on 9 October and the third public consultation session on 10 October at the fifth floor of Estrada de D. Maria II No.33. Dozens of representatives from more than 20 associations and about 100 of citizens participated in the two sessions respectively. Most of their opinions were about the services for the elderly, the protection of mountains, the increase of green areas, the landscape of Nan Van Lake and Sai Van Lake, the disaster prevention and revitalization of the Inner Harbour, the NIMBY (“not in my backyard”)-related facilities, the 18 operational planning and management units and the sub-classification of land use. Some opinions also talked about the passenger flow and the cost of the LRT East Line.
