Macao LRT opens to the public freely for three day from this Sunday

In order to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China and the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region, and in cooperation with the Parade to Commemorate the Inauguration of the Macau Bridge, Macao LRT will open to passengers for free from 29 September to 1 October. The public and tourists are welcome to take the LRT more often when travelling.
 
During the free-riding period, passengers arriving at LRT stations do not need to buy tickets but should follow the instructions of the LRT staff to enter and exit the gates. When there is a large number of people, passengers should comply with the arrangements and take the train in an orderly manner. Meanwhile, passengers are advised not to stay in the LRT paid area for a long period to avoid affecting other passengers' travelling.
 
In addition, for the travelling needs of the public and passengers during the National Day holiday, Macao LRT will enhance its operation from 1 to 7 October. The last train will be extended to depart at 11:59 p.m. Passengers are advised to pay close attention to the announcements at the stations during the holiday period, and should follow signages in the stations and staff’s instructions to take the train in an orderly manner.
