Signal failure affected LRT Taipa Line service

The service of the Taipa Line between Lotus Checkpoint Station and Taipa Ferry Terminal Station was disrupted at around 10:30 pm yesterday (5 May) due to a signal failure.

At around 10:30 pm, a train signal failure occurred between the MUST Station and Cotai East Station and caused the suspension of the Taipa Line service between the Lotus Checkpoint Station and the Taipa Ferry Terminal Station. The problem was resolved at 11:08 pm. and the LRT service resumed normally. The last train of the Taipa Line departed from the Ocean Station and the Taipa Ferry Terminal Station at 11:15 pm. 

The cause of the incident is still under investigation. We apologise to all passengers for any inconvenience caused.
