MLM and the operation team had immediately arranged staff to inspect the conditions of various facilities of the Taipa Line after the typhoon, and discovered several parts of viaducts and stations were damaged to different extents.
MLM had immediately instructed the operation team to carry out temporary repairs and reinforcements for the damaged parts, and had reported to the Public Security Police Force and Fire Services Bureau to send personnel for assistance when any potential dangers were identified.
MLM will continue to follow up the cleaning and repairs after the typhoon in order to restore normal operational status of Taipa Line’s hardware and equipment.
